David Ross

In 1965, David began his career with the United Wire Hanger Company in Hasbrouck, New Jersey as a general maintenance repairman.

For over 20 years, David advanced through the ranks to become the Plant Forman responsible for the supervision of over 150 employees.

Retiring in 1985, David relocated to south Florida joining Davco as a field construction worker installing sports lighting systems. Working under the supervision of Russell White, he quickly embraced the discipline involved with this innovative and unique industry, rising through the ranks to General Superintendent within two years.

Advancing his already considerable competence, David became certified and proficient on many diverse and complex industrial machines including large cranes and drilling rigs. This is in addition to his significant expertise in the physical construction of each project, including the ability to operate and work on 5000 amp dc motors to 1.32 high-voltage transmission lines.

David is an intricate and valuable member of the Sports Lighting and Civil Division team.
